Hey, all mexican (native and in heart) people out there. Día de Muertos is coming and with it, Pan de Muerto. I have a very old recipe that I would like to share, but I sweared my grandma to never EVER do it. Anyway. Are you making it?

No, I'm too lazy, although where I live there are many Mexican bakeries that do make it. The village of Mesilla has a three-day Dia de los Muertos celebration each year on the plaza, and the bread is eaten after a procession from the church.

I'm not very into sweets, desserts or breads, but this is definitely my favourite bread of all. It is a custom to eat it each 1st and 2nd of November here in Mexico. But I don't mind having this as dinner with a steamy hot chocolate.
Yep, I'm making today. I hope I can take pictures of it and share them.

Day of the Dead Bread ( Pan De Muerto) for a pretty good recipe friend. If you give it a try, recipe reviews are very much appreciated.
