    Happy Fall/Autumn!

I'm not sure about you, but when the weather started to get a bit cooler, the first thing I thought about was, "Yay, it's soup and pie season! I can turn the oven on again!" Ok, maybe I didn't think about pie in that moment, but I am right now, because I made my second apple pie in as many weeks today, and I've got warm apple pie and melty vanilla ice cream on the brain... can you blame me? icon_wink.gif So I made some minestrone soup, fresh bread to go with it, and some sweet potato scones (breakfast AND lunch, thank you!) So what about you?

What are your favourite fall foods/recipes? What are you looking forward to?

Root vegetables, squash/pumpkin, anything with apples or pears.
I have a 'Cinderella' pumpkin from our CSA box waiting to be roasted.

    *LOVE* autumn cooking!

So nice to see you, Katzen!
