Does anyone know how to make Panera Bread's iced green tea? It has a melon flavor that I'm not sure how to duplicate. Any ideas would be great.

My son works there - I'll ask him.
Edited to add that I just spoke with him by phone and he said they purchase it, and we can too. He said he'll get the specific brand and flavor. I thought he said it was Republic brand tea, or something like that.
Stay tuned. It may not be tonight - he was out with his buddies - but I'll post as soon as I know the answer.

on their menu list it says papaya and passion fruit green tea iced. So it could be the Passionfruit Green Tea Square Blend, makes 16 servings....
and another is honeydew, green tea, and whipped cream iced.
Also if you look into Tea Republic on the above web, it shows cubes to just mix up of green iced teas. Might be something in that area..of the one they use.

Ok, here's the scoop - I was in the store today with my son. The manager said it's a papaya/passion fruit green tea concentrate that is made by Republic of Tea for Panera Bread. They just add water and ice.
The IC honeydew green tea is the same tea with a couple of scoops of honeydew powder added. A 20 oz cup is filled with ice, then it's filled with tea, then the scoops of powder are added, and it's blended to make an icee.
I've never seen the concentrate, or the honeydew powder available to the general public. Perhaps someone knows a source.

I too have been looking for a recipe or the ingredients to make the Panera Green Iced tea. I found this that looks like it might be similar:

going to give it a try!

Closest one found to Panera's tea. This uses things you can find at most grocery stores! It's tasty!
