I am new here, so I thought I would start with contributing something icon_smile.gif
Last week I tried to find a recipe for Skagenröra online, surprisingly it's not much out there.. However, I think I made the best Skagenröra I ever tasted... It had a lot of edge! It's from a famous Swedish chef, Roberth Sundell of San Francisco Restaurant Pläj...I found some other Swedish recipes there as well, mostly from noted swedish chefs which is kind of fun!

Why don't you post your recipe in the database? Forums are not searchable, so it is not all that likely that someone would see this post. The new recipes are published every day and lots of people review them each day. Just hover your cursor over the blue box to the right of your icon - in the right hand collumn is Submit Your Recipe - click that and follow instructions.

    Hi there Anna! wave.gif Välkommen!

I must admit I've never had a Toast Skagen as I don't eat shrimp - but that recipe looks absolutely delish! Lobster, red onions, red chilli, enveloped in creamy goodness... yummy.gif Thank you for the link, I'll make sure to bookmark it! And I agree with Monique (who I think is actually our duonyte! icon_smile.gif): do post your own favourite, the database could certainly use more delicious Scandi recipes!
