Now that it's apple season, does anyone have any favorite apple recipes to use up the abundance?

I love baked apples - Baked Apples (With Chopped Hazelnuts)
You can really switch the ingredients and use nuts or dried fruit of your choice

I love stewed apples with warm custard- dont have a recipe for stewed apples....but guess you could find one on the site. Sometimes could it chunky and other times almost pureed. Stewed apples freeze well too.

I've spotted this recipe on the site and would love to try making it gluten-free. I think it should turn out fine just by substituting a blended gluten-free flour and adding in maybe a little xanthan gum- German Apple Cake

This was an easy gluten-free apple crumble - Apple Crumble (Gluten, Dairy and Egg-Free)
