Thanks Laury! I have found local cookbooks, I was just surprised that they weren't readily available, and thought it was interesting icon_smile.gif

I actually miscounted...there are 18 cookbooks in my box, not a MERE 17:)icon_smile.gif! If I live to be 200, I could never try all the delicious-sounding Georgia treats, so my plan is to make one recipe from each the next 18 times I need to prepare a meal or bake a dessert. I'll post the best ones on food.com, of course, with credit to the books they came from (and to Kerfuffle, of course!) Thanks again, K-U-W!

wave.gif I'm glad the books arrived quickly and that you like them! I got lucky finding that local ebay seller with so many GA cookbooks ~ the seller even offered to drop the books off at my house instead of shipping them!

Please post a photo for all to see!

wave.gif Mike...I never get e-mails sent to me. I learned that the hard way from the last swap when I missed everyones replies back to me regarding the questionaire. Now I've made it a habit to just remember to check here a few times a day. A real pain. icon_evil.gif

Is this you, CB? I seem to remember you had to change your e-mail address due to a virus? Did you give the new one to Food.com on your registration page?

Yes..it's me Mike. They do have my new address, as I changed that right away. I do get some e-mail replies, like to tag games and such, just not to this thread.

I believe, for whatever reason, it is because the two of you share that host account for this event ~ we went through not getting notifications when we wore the host hat on a shared account for the Variety is the Spice of Life event last May!

That could be it. Because it's only for this thread that I don't receive e-mails. For my normal everyday stuff on Zaar I do still receive. It's not worth the effort to bring this to their attention. This swap thread we're in is only temporary anyway.

CB, sign out as Swap Host and post something in your own account name and that might solve the problem. I am getting e-mails notifications as Mikekey, not Swap Host. Then you can return to using the swap host account. Hope that helps.
