Tonight I had a taste for pizza, so I made a double batch of olive oil dough using 1/3 stone ground whole wheat flour. Really great flavor to the crust. Topped it with my marinara sauce, sweet Hungarian pepper rings from the garden, red onion slices and lots of fresh grated Mozzarella. DW made the salad and there were no prisoners taken.

I like the 3rd photo best. The pizza looks very nice, but I find myself wanting to see more of that salad - it looks pretty tasty too. And the combination? Yum!

For me, I find that pizza is difficult to photograph because its surface changes so quickly as it cools. I must have snapped 10 pics in less than two minutes from different angles, then went back and picked what i thought the three best were.

I LOVE pizza. That is one good looking pizza there. DH has this weird problem of not eating the crusts of his pizza, and it drives me CRAZY!!!! So, that nice beautiful ring of dough you have around your pizza, yup, you guessed it, he would not eat. BUT, lucky for me, I get his scraps. I then eat less of the pizza itself, and get his throw aways. Which is OK by me. I hate throwing out food, even if it is "scraps" to some. Whenever I make a homemade pizza, I spread everything to the edge, and over, so he can't waste anything, and I get to enjoy more than scraps sometimes. LOL
