In Tofu and Vegetable Stir Fry (one of my private recipes) the sugar is listed as 0 grams in the sidebar. But when I click "Detailed Nutrition Values" underneath the nutrition info, the sugar listed there is correct. Anne, I'm checking into this and will get back to you.
Kathy Anne, I see the sugar values at 17.3 in both the nutritional summary and the detail page. Are you still see 0 in the nutritional summary in the sidebar?

duonyte, I posted a reply in that thread.
This is a confusing situation, and it doesn't occur often. This problem happens when (1) no serving number is entered AND (2) the yield is an amount less than 1 (in this case 1/4). The summary box always displays data for 1 serving or 1 yield. So when a yield of less than 1 is used, the number is calculated to equal 1. In this case, it's multiplying what you see on the detail page by 4.
There are two ways to make the nutritional information correct:
1. Change the yield to 14 1/4 teaspoons, then the nutritional summary will be for 1 teaspoon.
2. Change the yield to 1 batch, then the summary information will be for the entire recipe.
3. Add a number in the serving field of 14. I picked 14 assuming you would use 1 tsp of chili powder when you are making another recipe.
In my opinion #1 is the best solution.

Can this recipe be fixed? The contributor entered 450 gr. ripe tomatoes instead of 450 grams ripe tomatoes, so it's being read as 450 tomatoes.

Omelette With Fresh Tomatoes #425617 Chocolat, the recipe has been updated, and has significantly less calories now.

There's a curious (not huge, but puzzling) discrepancy in the carb figures on the recipe page nutrition box versus the detailed nutritional values for Benihana Superb Salad Dressing. The first lists 10.9 grams, the other 16 grams. We are wondering in the Q & A forum if there's a reason for this.

The first lists 10.9 grams, the other 16 grams. We are wondering in the Q & A forum if there's a reason for this. Hi Zeldaz, The detailed nutritional page shows 16 as the total number of carbs for the ENTIRE recipe of 1.5 cups. (Actually the total is 16.35, but that chart rounds numbers up/down)
The summary box on the recipe always shows a value of 1 -- whether it's 1 serving or 1 of the value selected for the yield, which in this case is 1 cup. Unfortunately, the summary box has only the text "1 serving." In this case we have no idea what 1 serving is because no servings were indicated in the recipe. The default then becomes 1 of the yield, but that's not made clear on the summary box.
Therefore, the summary box is showing only the number of carbs in 1 cup, which is 10.9 grams. That figure is arrived at by dividing 16.35 by 1.5 cups to get the 10.9 number for 1 cup.
You'll notice that logic also applies to the total number of calories in the recipe. The detail page shows 1051 calories in the entire recipe of 1.5 cups and the summary box shows there are 700.7 calories in 1 cup.
Does that explain it for you?

Actually, no, it just confuses the issue even more! Why on earth would would one use one cup as the benchmark, but the other uses 1.5 cups? That's just asking for trouble! There is, however, a simple solution.
If the number of servings is changed to 12 it should make everything work and eliminate the discrepancy. The USDA standard for a serving of any salad dressing is 2 tablespoons, so this recipe actually makes 12 servings. That would eliminate the confusion.

I agree, having servings would eliminate the confusion; and the recipe should update shortly.
