Wow! So sorry! Hope you heal quickly.
I would purchase salad already prepped in bags. Rotisserie chicken for quick add ins. Prepared pastas like ravioli with prepared sauces.
Frozen vegies. Trying to think of less knife work.

I had wrist surgery 10 years ago. I cooked every night, but as C said. Bagged salad, precut veggies, frozen is ok. Soups are easy to make especially buying pre cut items. You can cook some breasts and they fall apart, NO knife skills, so they can just be pulled.
But lots of soups which can be made without cooking.
Beef cubes in the crock, gravy mix, water, frozen pearl onions, and wine, cover and cook on low. NO chopping. Serve over pasta. And yes, with a spider you can scoop out the pasta.
Pasta and sauce, frozen meatballs you can jazz up.
Even a store bought lasagna can be accompanied with a store bought salad and garlic bread.
Pork chops can be made in the crock pot.
I make a pork loin with tomatoes and mushrooms soup, crock pot and it is todie for, and easy. Serve over rice ...
So yes, I would go easy, premade and cut, until you can cut. Make life easy. You don't want to hurt your wrist trust me, I did to much and paid for it.

My nana always used to say One is neither the first, nor the last of anything in this world and followed by someone always has it worse...
When one only has one arm for whatever reason, one only needs to look to someone who has no arms
Hope this helps
