    Does anyone have a very traditional recipe for Arepa? I want to make them for my future son in law who lived in Venezuela for a while. Thank you!

    If you type arepas into the search bar above, you get a number of recipes, several of which state that they are Venezuelan I don't know how traditional any of them is, but the intros to the recipes might give you a better idea.

    I use Harina P.A.N. flour. It's available online (Google it); in Hispanic groceries; in the latino section of most major grocery stores. Costs about $3 depending on where you get it. Here's what it looks like.
