    Food.com is not working well with my IPad. I can't load anything but the home screen. I can't reach my recipes from my IPad. I had to get on our home computer to contact Food.com.

    What exactly happens when you try to access any other pages (not the homepage) on the Food.com web site? Do you receive an error message? Does the screen jump? Any additional information that you are able to provide will definitely assist us. This just is not enough specific information to determine what the problem may be.

    I'm having the same issues. According to my address bar the page starts to down load and gets stuck. My screen stays on the home page and the little round do hickey in the left corner just spins and spins.

    I get on to Food.com via Safari. No problems. If I try to go to another page it tries to load, but stalls part way through the loading and just sits. No error messages. The screen freezes except for the previous screen arrow. I have tried accessing Food.com recipes through Pinterest and e-mail, the same thing happens. I can access everything through my desktop, which is how I am contacting you. The only site this is happening on is Food.com. What other kind of information can I give you?

    Ok, I am testing Food.com on the iPad (which uses Safari) and so far I am not having any issues.

    Have you done a hard restart on the Safari browser?

    Also, would you mind giving me a few steps to mimic what you are doing to see if I can duplicate something? For instance, once you hit the home page, give me a few examples of what you are clicking on (in the exact order you do it) and describe what happens (If it is just not loading, I have made a note of that already). If you get an error message or it just doesn't seem to do anything, let me know.

    It CAN be fairly slow. I have it on WiFi. Some pages load pretty quickly and other's take their sweet time.

    Last night I was having difficulty getting to any other page other than the home page. Now I can search for recipes with no problem but when I go to open one of the recipes it gets stuck It even happens when I try to go to Customer Support Forum from the Talks and Tips drop down. I'm doing that right now on my ipad and we are going on 5 minutes I have been waiting.

    Me too. When I get notified via email that one of my watched topics has a new posting I click on link and it just does not go anywhere and meanwhile my charged battery for iPad wears right down I can lose 15% and it still stalls. This morning when I goggled food.com I got something mighty wield I should have taken a screen shot but forgot how--it was a grid of same woman pic in about a 10 by 10array of same gal with smiley face, glasses, green background, and shoulder length area-- she reminded me of someone here but who am unsure. When I goggle food.com later and then click on it I get to home page and there it stays forever. Why I am able to get on now i have not a clue. This has been frustrating for at least two days. Am able to go to other sites without issues.

    This is just weird as I can't duplicate this on 2 different iPad's.

    I will keep testing and see if I can recreate what you are describing.

    Today it is working right and late last night it was working right. I figured out who the lady in grid was --the chef of month. It filled up my entire screen. Wonder if iPad users affected come from same area? Or have the same version of iPad.

    Talked to apple support yesterday about enabling media uploads for food.com as we cannot upload pics via your site. Told them you did not have anything for us, told them you were were java whatever, and they spent about 15 minutes discussing if they had an appropriate application but dead end. So alas no more pics are coming from me and it was kind of fun.

    Problem is solved. Been tackling this issue through Facebook too. I don't know if your staff fixed the problem, if not you might suggest to other users to reset (turn it off and then back on) their wireless router. It is the only thing that we have done in the last 12 hours that might have had an effect on the problem.

    Sara, I did turn off my MiFi and turn it back on and I was having trouble with FB too. And the other websites did not have issues.

    Wonderful tip! What's funny is, I had to reset a router yesterday (it kept timing out) and everything works perfect. Sometimes it is the small things...
