    Why is the *Edmond's Cookery Book* so expensive???

    I was also wondering when the first one was printed. Current (1986) editions start at about $75 used.

    There must be something REALLY tasty in there! I want one!

    The first edition was 1908 - more booklet than book.The current format came into being in 1955.

    ... as for price - it should be around $25 for the current edition online [without postage] ..

    I picked up mine [80's edition] for 50c in a junk shop in Australia ..
