Wow, those are beautiful,Red! In fact, I made that very recipe last week, but I boringly made loaves, not rolls. What a great idea, thanks!

Thanks pammy. The rolls were requested as such, as folks here are hooked on King's Hiawaian Rolls.

Yummy bread and rolls everyone.
I am making my usual white bread, only 6 loaves this time because I ran out of flour.

Oh, for a baker, that is a catastrophe!! Still, 6 loves will last a day or two, right?

tasb, you running out of flour with all that baking you do, I'm not surprised but like others have said - 6 loaves will last until you can get to the store for more.

I simply love this forum. So mellow and non competitive compared to one specific one, which shall remain nameless.
Does anyone need the brioche recipe from "Artisan bread in 5 minutes a day"? That is my favorite recipe for brioche. Perfect every time!

You know, I've never made brioche, but have been thinking about it - would love to see the recipe.

It should get me through the weekend. We have been going through about a loaf a day. With everyone eating sandwiches for lunch and the kids eating toast for snack, it sure goes fast. 3 more weeks and me and the girls will be eating school lunches again. Only DS and hubby need to worry about making a lunch at home.
That was my 3rd bag since October, so about 150 lbs flour. Plus whatever I used out of the whole wheat. I am guessing I should start making Multi-grain bread again.
pammy, please post the recipe, I like brioche, I don't make it that often, as my first time making it was at cooking school, and that day I think I was suffering from the stomach flu, so the thought of that much eggs and butter had me running for the washroom, thankfully it was next door. It took me about 8 years to try and make it again. The family loved it, but I think the recipe I used wasn't as good as the one at the cooking school.

I need to dig out the brioche recipe I have for the food processor. It was so easy to make, and really good.

The instructions sound fine to me, really differant and I've saved this recipe to try once I don't have quite as much company.
