Lunches/Snacks for in between classes

Hi everyone,

I am a commuting college student who has grown tired of the food on campus. I'm looking for some new ideas to take with me for my breaks in between classes. I live at home so I have access to a full kitchen and I have an insulated lunch tote, but I won't have access to a microwave or refrigerator once I'm at school. Some ideas rather than my typical sandwich/apple/yogurt combination would be so helpful

Can you get a wide-mouth thermos bottle? It's great for soups or stews - you can even keep something like a tamale in it and it will stay warm enough for lunch.

Any number of salads or noodle dishes are good at room temperature.
