    hi there you wrote bake at 350 was it celsius or
    fahrenheit i'm sorrie if this is a lame question but i;m a new baker and clearly everything goes above my head,and do the cookies harden while they're baking or once they've cooled down?thankx Chewy Double Chocolate Chip Cookies

    That's Fahrenheit. Typical baking temperatures are 300-500 Fahrenheit or 150-200 Celsius. (350C would be 660F - hotter than most home ovens can manage.)

    Most cookies will come out of the oven slightly soft. If they are a crispy cookie (not all cookies are), they will crisp up as they cool.

    These are chewy cookies--they won't harden unless they're stale.
