I took your suggestions and made the soup to enjoy with the bread.

No baking today, just some out-of-season canning and experimenting going on. I decided to make more Applesauce this weekend because the kids ate the 6 dozen jars I made for them back in the fall. And it is such a healthy snack. The experimenting came in because I wanted to use up some Cinnamon Hearts I bought back in Feb. I added some to the last 1/2 of the Applesauce, gotta add more next time, it didn't have enough flavor, I ended up adding 2 tsp ground cinnamon.

Here is a picture of the Apple Crisp my son made

Red, I'm really looking forward to trying your bread.
I'm working full-time at the moment, but hope to squeeze it in soon.

The apple crisp - looks good. How old is the baker?

I appreciate that and hope you like the bread.

Red, perhaps you'd like to start a new thread? This one is really long.
