Red Beans and Rice with Smoked Sausage

Semi Traditional ... my version
Sauteed bacon, along with the sausage, onion, green pepper, garlic. Then added a seasoning pkg (my friend from LA sent it to me) it has all the seasoning included. Then I added canned beans, dark red kidney and red beans. Beer, cooked the rice in broth, and must have hot sauce.

Like I said, semi traditional with the flavors; but done my way.

Ahhh, #2 from you today!

I love that first close-up with the grains of rice! Like traditional food usually is, this dish is such comfort food. Very good photos.

It's getting cold here in S A in the late afternoons, and that's just the kind of dish one needs now!
