    If you're a lover of dill pickles and chopped onion, be sure and put some on top of the meat before you put the bun lid on. Everytime I serve these I get lots of smiles and "oh my's?". I couldn't believe the chef had a few negative comments. You must try.

    I wash my hair with leftover beer, it makes your hair shiny, just make sure to rinse well, so you don't get pulled over for smelling like beer. rotfl.gif rotfl.gif rotfl.gif bk icon_biggrin.gif

    Waaaaaay back in the early '60's we used stale flat beer as a "setting lotion" - when I set my waist length hair on huge (beer can sized) hair rollers! icon_eek.gif

    Left over beer... What's that?. IF it's opened, like the recipe need 6 oz or something, the rest goes to the cook (me). The only other left over I ever see is occasionally I will host a party and guests bring their own and perhaps there is left over Bud/Coors or other lite beer. That just goes in the trash. Left over Bud or other generics get saved for the water pan in my smoker. Decent beer just goes into my "drinking" supply . icon_surprised.gif

    A bartender at a Irish pub told me that is a "Half and Half", a "Black and Tan" is made the same way but with Bass, not Harp.

    "Leftover beer", shoot, that's like saying you have leftover money. It really doesn't exist, lol.

    A hoppy beer, like an IPA, will keep longer than a standard big brewery run of the mill lager. Higher octane beers will keep longer too. But all beers will keep a while if you store them in a cool dark place. If you have a basement you can set a corner aside for your beer larder.

    But if you have too much beer you know you're not going to drink or cook with, invite some friends or neighbors over. Or invite me. icon_wink.gif
