Marilynn, in the event your quest for this particular recipe is not successful, I can suggest that you take a look at some of these great chocolate fudge cakes: (link).

If you give one recipe a week a try, think of all the delicious fun you'll have! icon_smile.gif

Try finding "Best of the Best from Wisconsin: Selected Recipes from Wisconsin's Favorite Cookbooks" by Gwen McKee and Barbara Moseley, or "Best Recipes of Wisconsin Inns and Restaurants" by Margaret E. Guthrie and Rosemarie Putnam, or similar WI community cookbooks at your local library. Unfortunately, most of these older books are out of print, so the library is your best bet to track them down. Even if they don't have them on site, you should be able to request any of them through your local library system. Most of them do have a bunch of pages in the back listing related community cookbooks (often with a picture) from around Wisconsin and the Midwest. It may take a little research, but you should be able to find what you're looking for. Good luck!

Thanks Molly53 for notifying me about this topic. There's a book at my local library that contains Wisconsin restaurant recipes. I did read the replies from other posters about some books but those titles don't sound familiar to me as far as the one that's at my library. I sure as heck can't remember the title of that book, even after checking my library's website. I've seen it a million times but try to remember it now?? No, can't.

I'll be at the library tomorrow (I work there!) and I'll 'check it out' and respond back here tomorrow.
