Now I have to get it packed up and ready to mail. I never made anything like this, but always thought you could zip them up in a hurry...not so. Stuffing and sewing all those tiny pieces takes a lot of time.

That is one of the cutest stockings I've ever seen. You did a fantastic job. I can certainly appreciate all of the hours spent on it. icon_biggrin.gif

Thanks for the compliments. I just got an email from Christopher's mom--the stocking arrived in the mail yesterday, and she loves it. At only 11 months, he's too young to appreciate it, but I'm sure he will in the future.

I think I might have posted this on here before, but I'm not sure. This is the stocking I made for Christopher's big sister when she was born three years ago--I had just finished the counted cross-stitch and still needed to make it into a stocking when I took the picture. All my nieces and nephews get a stocking from me for their first Christmas. My youngest brother's kids are 19 and 25 years old, and they still hang theirs every year.

You do BEAUTIFUL work. I wish I was one of your nieces or nephews now, so I could get one of your pieces of art. There is no price you can place on something like this.

Lily and Christopher just had a little brother, so...Aunt Mia just finished another stocking. Hope EJ likes it when he's big enough to appreciate what it is.
