Wow! That's quite a name for that cookie! I'm happy to see that it's a proper Snickerdoodle, with Cream of Tartar used. I've seen cookie recipes that were nothing more than sugar cookies, sprinkled with cinnamon, posing as Snickerdoodles. icon_evil.gif

Did you make them giant or did you make them regular size, muffinlady? And were they, indeed, the BEST cookie you've ever eaten? icon_lol.gif

They were good. I was wondering if I should post or not. But decided you could decide. I made them small when I doubled batch I got over 5 dozen. But the reason they may not have been the best is I have had so many super good recipes I think I am starting to wonder is this the best or just really good. Like I said I probaby can't tell anymore.

Oh I found another recipe I adore. Mainly because if is quick, easy to make and can be eaten on the go and sometimes you don't want something heavy and this fits the bill. Just keep in the freezer until you want to bake to heat up.

    "Which recipe?" Bwhahahahahhaaaa!!!
I am SO sharing this recipe with my BFF! Her adult son is addicted to pizza rolls and my friend LOVES to cook savory things. This is exactly what she needs to make her son happy! Thanks for posting it!

And now I have a recipe to post:
Best Ever Banana Cake with Cream Cheese Frosting

Absolutely, undeniably, thoroughly...indulgent and spectacular banana cake!!!!! OMG, it is SO good that we've been snacking on it, non-stop, since yesterday!

The directions are impeccable, the end result is extraordinarily moist...just a dream of a cake! I decided to try a banana CAKE vs. bread because I just needed to make something different with bananas other than smoothies or bread. This is just the way to use up extra bananas that went soft before you could get to them.

Also, I used a different cream cheese frosting that I found in a very old cookbook that turned out exceedingly tasty. Instead of using the recommended 3-4 cups of sifted powdered sugar, use only TWO cups. It yields a very, very soft cream cheese frosting that REALLY gives you that cream cheese taste, rather than the super sweet powdered sugar taste. You can NOT pipe this frosting!, it's that soft. But darn, it sure tastes good! icon_biggrin.gif

Ohhhhh YUM! I have that one safely tucked away. Thanks Swedie!

I tried a great & EASY chicken recipe that I'd like to include here. Crispy on the outside, WONDERFUL flavor. My husband took a bite and said, "Wow".

Not only do I like the name of that dish but I love this quote: "Often in life, the simplest things are best." I'm a HUGE fan of simple food, which does NOT mean boring! Just had a baked sweet potato, stuffing, June Peas and roasted chicken for lunch and it was sublime! For dessert? You guessed it...MORE banana cake! LOL Got your recipe into the book, L.i.G.!
