You can try to make a fish fillet since your kids will not know that it's not really a meat.

My daughters quite like fish- provided it has no skin or bones.
Fish fillets are definitely the best.

We all LOVE salmon- it's always a winner dinner for my girls

I have a friend who has a daughter with autism and if told she was having fish would not eat it so the fish word was never mentioned it was snapper or flat head or what species they were having but never fish - she was happy to eat. Recently my DM (she has dementia) has taken to not wanting to eat fish and the above worked with her too though she will happily eat salmon but to her that is not fish because it is pink and not white.

My girls love salmon too Pat.

My Dad (83) says he isn't too keen on fish either. Last Sunday though, he enjoyed a lovely barramundi fillet and today a salmon steak with steamed veges. I've started cooking lunch or a dinner for them on Sundays now
