    Sun Feb 05, 2012 1:59 am Groupie
Has anyone tried seedless tomatoes? My sister told me she had seen some seed online in a gardening magazine, and I wonder how good they are.

How on earth does a seedless fruit produce any seeds? icon_eek.gif If she can get seeds, they can't be seedless, or am I missing something? It's too early for April Fools Day!

I looked it up on line at Burpees, and they had packets of "seedless" tomatos. They aren't completely seedless and the germination rate is only 60 percent so I'm not going to try them. They were really expensive.

Almost time to start my seedlings! I'm also going to try potatoes in a potato box.

After what I read about Monsanto and GMO plants, I am NOT going to try seedless anything. icon_sad.gif
