Hello - I'd Like to Introduce Myself

Hi everyone!

I just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Kim, my food.com name, KimmieCat is from a nickname my little bro gave me years ago.

For those of you who don't know, NWGal is my mom and she introduced me to food.com back when it was Recipe Zaar. I joined about 2 or 3 years ago and have had a blast sharing some of my favorite recipes and getting some new favorites by other posted recipes.

In terms of this thread's topic. My family used to camp every year along the Oregon Coast when I was a kid and I loved it! Now that I am married and have a whole new set of family, I've been inducted into his family's annual tradition of camping over in Eastern Washington. So my hubby and I have been slowly building our camping equipment collection. So with that said, I would love to hear what all of you recommend for good, quality camping equipment and would love to share with you what I have found to be helpful equipment as well. Plus, of course any delicious camping recipes as well - I can't wait to see what is recommended, I've gotten some great ideas from this thread in the past and know even more great recipes are on the way!

I work full-time and go to night school so I am used to brown bagging my lunches and school snacks. So I'm excited to see some great suggestions for brown bag lunch ideas. Variety is the spice of life and I think that is one area of my lunches that gets ignored, so it will be nice to get some threads started for us to share some ideas on how to bring some variety to the brown bag lunch.

To wrap things up, I just want to let you all know that I am excited to be a new host for this thread and I can not wait to hear your suggestions and answer any questions you have.
