American Recipe Noilly Prat Dry Vermouth????

Does ANYONE know where I can find more of the pre-2009 American-Recipe Noilly Prat "Original Dry Vermouth"??

In January 2009, Noilly Prat STOPPED making the vermouth that has been THE go-to vermouth for Dry Martini's for some 60 years.

Just search "Noilly Prat Wall Street Journal" or see the article here:
    http://online.wsj.com/article/SB123154573030469717.html

The new version is SO bad, my local Wine Shop has stopped carrying it.
THAT is how much this niche Martini-group dislikes it.

I have emailed Noilly Prat several times and received nothing back, nothing.

Really sad that they have chosen to isolate this market, however small.

I am looking for the "American" pre-2009, Paper label "Noilly Prat Original French Dry Vermouth".

(The bottle on the left is what it looks like, NOT the New one on the right)

I have tried nearly every other Vermouth out there and nothing is the same.

If you know where I can buy it or a good alternative please let me know.

I have tried Boissiere, Gallo, Stock, Martini & Rossi, Dolin. None of them come close to the good stuff.

    Any help is appreciated.

When Cooks Illustrated evaluated vermouths Gallo came up on top, so it's the one I use. I don't think I've seen another brand at my local shops, but I'll look next time I'm in one of them.
