I had an epidural with my first but I didn't want anything but when the offer is being pushed at you and the nurse also said 98% in this hospital get it. I did. But the way I did it drug free was red raspberry leaf tea. It makes it easy along with prayer. I just wasn't prepared enough with my first.

My epidural had worn off by the time she was delivered.
So, maybe for the most part it was natural.

Both my births were quick because even with my first I got the epidural late but without the tea I had the regular pain. Red raspberry leaf tea is the best!!! It doesn't taste good though but it makes it easy and greatly reduces pain if you drink it religiously so who cares.
