An English member has asked in the Gluten-free forum for help with a gluten-free Christmas dinner menu .....can anyone help with some recipe suggestions?

I was also wanting to ask what recipes (not gluten-free) that you would use for Christmas dinner. I am hoping that I can use your suggestions and offer some gluten-free alternatives.

Thanks Jubes, have popped over and left a message.

Personally I don't do anything very special, it's just the usual Turkey with traditional accompaniments. I do make my own cranberry sauce though.

I try and do something a little different for starters...this year I'm going to make arancini.

for dessert we usually have warm mince pies (home made)and cream, as we don't particularly like Christmas pud, although I might do something different this year.

I have no knowledge at all about gluten free cooking, so I'm afraid I am not much help.

We usually have turkey with the trimmings and then Christmas pudding (with custard) mince pies and Christmas cake for dessert. Some years I also make a trifle.

Turkey with all the trimmings = Roast turkey with sage, sausage and onion stuffing, roasted potatoes, brussels sprouts, carrots, gravy, little sausages rolled in bacon and additional stuffing balls.
