Hi guys,
I'm hosting a scouts mtg this friday afternoon and i'm supposed to do a cooking demo for 12 little girls (yikes!)
then half of the girls will head into my dining room to make chocolate dipped pretzels, deco them, let them dry, make gift bags, then package it all up for a gift for their parents.
My question is: what should I do for a 20 minute cooking demo for 9-11 year olds AND then WHILE half the girls are doing the pretzels, I'm supposed to be leading a cooking project.
Was thinking mini quiches and mini pizzas in muffin tins might be good..
or soft pretzels with dif dipping sauces.
I don't know, anyone got any experience with this? THANKS!

Since this is the season, why don't you have each little girl bring a clean, pint jar w/lid to your meeting. Have them assemble a gift in a jar. After they do that, let the demonstration be how to cook that item (soup, cookies, etc). Afterwards, they each have a portion to taste.
