    Hungarian Christmas season bread recipe?

An acquaintance of mine is looking for a bread recipe that her DH's grandmother used to make but she doesn't know the spelling. She believes it is a Hungarian bread. She attempted to spell it...lukshu and stated that it has a poppy seed dressing that goes on top after baked. Apparently this was made during Christmas. Can anyone help her?
    Thanks
