Oh boy!
I almost eat like that, but I would not call it a diet! I have never in my life believed in diets!
I eat lots of protein -- meats, eggs, cheese, whatever. I do NOT believe in low-fat anything, but I do not mean going overboard and scoffing fats! I use butter and cream in cooking. I only cut the really extra fats off red meats. I would not eat chicken without its skin, which has all the flavour!
Four years ago I lost 17 kg in a very short time (maybe 6 weeks) by eating a little less, and eating lots of protein, veggies (no fruits due to the sugar content). and having my normal (3 glasses) ration of dry wine at dinner every night.
I confess that losing that much so quickly was NOT a good idea. It affected my good skin!
But I have never gained back anything -- maybe a kilo -- then lost it again.
Best is, I never go hungry, and I can still enjoy my wine! Maybe the Paleo people also made some fermented drink!

(17 kg equals about 36/37 lbs)
I'm due for normal blood work, which last time was just fine, including the cholesterol count and triglycyrides (SP??). If it's out of whack now I'll report back.[/i]
