CG, I'm tagging your Ethiopian Potato Salad (123119). I have cooked potato sitting in the fridge, a surfeit of fresh lemon juice (lots of baking that called for lemon rind) and the Italian parsley on my deck is going WILD and needs to be picked (not to mention the jalapeno lurking in the refrigerator).

    Kate's it. N*A*M*E* Game

Thanks, Kate. I stole that recipe from Meskeram in
DC back in '05 when I visited.

I remember that visit, CGT--because it happened just before we became cyberly acquainted. And I am loving this potato salad which I am eating as we speak(?). In fact, I will go and give it a five star review in just a moment. I did use these incredibly delicious and wonderful spring onions--fat, aromatic, sweet but biting little critters that appear for just a few weeks of spring here in Maryland--and I did add some haricots verts I had hanging around and, lovely moment, I picked flat leaf parsley from the plant that's growing like mad on my deck and used that in the salad. Man, that was good. icon_biggrin.gif

And yes, I am vegging along -- have a pot of StudentChef's soup simmering on the stove as I type.

Sweet Afghani Rice With Lemon & Chicken (Zarda Palau) has been reviewed.

I wish I had added fresh herbs to the dish before taking the pic (for color).
