Are you doing a Low County Boil.
That uses Old Bay seasoning and you can add corn, potatoes, sausage, and even shrimp.
Beaufort Stew (Low Country Boil)
It is great for labor day.
I use this as a base recipe, but to mine, I often throw in a few beers with my water, but I do a few things a bit differently.
I cut my corn in half, also the sausage I cut in 2-3" pieces for easier serving. I use baby red potatoes, always add shrimp and often crab, blue crab or snow crab legs
I also add 1 large onion cut in quarters to flavor the broth too. Mussels are also excellent thrown in. My favorite is to throw in some of the frozen baby artichoke hearts (birds eye brand is fine), I throw them in frozen, they go great with the other food.
I also serve with a spicy cocktail sauce and garlic butter sauce as well as plenty of lemons to squeeze on the shrimp and crab.
