Mimosa and Black Diamonds

This is a setting that I did yesterday using pink blossoms from my Mimosa tree.



A crystal vase holds the mimosa blooms.



I found some new salad plates and bread and butter plates at the thrift store, so decided to use them. The plates have pink roses with silvery gray leaves. Since I didn't have any gray tablesetting items, I decided to pair the pink with black.



I used pink chargers and black dinner plates. Pink damask napkins were tied with black tassels. Silver liners hold the bread and butter plates.



I used my favorite black goblets, the pattern is called "Black Diamond" and pink tulip wines.



Dinner by candlelight...unfortunately, by the time I took these photos last night, the blooms had gotten very droopy.
