I've been on Recipezaar for quite a long time, but I'm new to this forum. I live in western Canada, work (for money) one day a week, and stay at home the rest of the week with my two lovely kids - my son aged 5 and my daughter aged 3. I've always struggled with homemaking and lately my desire to cook has gone out the window! I'm hoping to get some inspiration back from this forum before my kids have to eat any more omelettes!

I'm Angie. I'm a mid-30ish stay at home mom of a 2 year old DD and a 6 month old DS. I only in the past 5 years have discovered my love of cooking and baking.
I've been lucky in that my daughter will eat pretty much anything. When I'm cooking, she'll come into the kitchen with her mouth open to be my taste tester. I hope DS is the same way.
I love coming to this site and the forums to get ideas of fun and healthy things to make for my kids. My newest obsession is homemade baby food. Nice to meet you all,

Hi, my name is Janie. I usually hang out in the Budget/OAMC forums. I'm a first-time mommy of an adorable five month old boy, Rene, and wife of almost three years to Josh, a Canadian. We live in Louisiana (where I've lived all of my life). Ever since I discovered I was pregnant, I've been trying to compile a list of kid-friendly recipes. For my last birthday (last October), I asked for homemade baby food cookbooks. I have carrot puree ice cubes in the freezer and a block of sweet potato puree just waiting for Canadian Thanksgiving (which we will be celebrating next Sunday, since I have to work on Monday). I am bound and determined (and hopeful?) to not raise a picky eater.

Hi everyone! I am a mother of four wonderful children and am always cooking and looking for new recipes. I saw this kid-friendly cooking section and thought I'd like to share an easy recipe with any moms (or family ) who haven't baked or bought cupcakes for St. Patrick's Day yet.
