We want to take our kids (middle school age) on an old fashioned picnic...ideas? Potato salad, fresh fruit are already on the list.

I always got a chuckle out of this recipe:

Mom's Sit Sandwich (Aka Squishy Sorta Muffuletta) #27931

Traditional? Maybe not. Memorable? Absolutely icon_biggrin.gif

You could always go with cold fried chicken and apple or cherry pie as well.

    Amish Oven Fried Chicken #29977
    Apple Pie #65429
    Cherry Pie #4861

    Lemonade
    Pickles
    Deviled Eggs
Hamburgers/Hot Dogs (if a grill is available)
    Chocolate Cake

    Have a great time icon_biggrin.gif
