I had the opposite problem-a jar of the stuff and no recipe.
The powdered pomegranate I bought was different than the one shown in the link.It was dark red-brown,grainy,and looked like it was made from the pulp as well as the seeds. It's Indian name is Anardana. It was Rani brand, which makes and distributes Indian spices.I don't know how to provide a link;they do have a website ,but I think they only sell wholesale. There are a few other websites that sell it ,so try googleing Rani Spices or Anardana. GourmetSleuth.com and qualityspices.com should carry it.I actually found it at a large Asian market that's about an hour from where I live.Try looking at an Indian market,if you haven't already done so.
It has a slightly sour taste, but it had much less flavor than I expected. It seemed quite fresh, not at all stale,so I think this is just characteristic of the spice.Especially since all the other spices I've bought from the same company have been very aromatic and high quality.Because it is grainy it doesn't seem to be very good in uncooked dishes .I tried it sprinkled over a fruit salad and didn't like it this way.
I have since enjoyed it on fish and chicken .The recipe at the beginning of the link looks intriguing!Hope this is helpful.
