I'm originally from Omaha, but now live in Australia.
Hope to visit in 2012 and would be thrilled to catch up with people.
I'll keep you posted. You'll have plenty of time to plan. icon_smile.gif

I'm from the itty bitty Southwest Iowa town of Tabor. Less than a 1000 people.

And nowhere to find lamb. I am dying to try "Spicy Lamb Shish Kebabs With Greek Pita Bread" and I have no idea where to go to. I could try Whole Foods in Omaha, but it's really out of the way and I hate getting over to that area.

    Any ideas would be fantastic.

    Thanks,
    Leah

Talk to your local butcher to order some for you.

Alternatively, substitute beef. If you make that substitution, please make note of it in your recipe review so that future cooks can benefit from your experience.
