I have a large crock pot/slow cooker. I want to cook some BBQ ribs in it for just my hubby. How long do you recommend to cook 1 1/2 lbs. for? Thanks so much.

Unless the ribs will fill your slow cooker to 2/3-3/4 full I would not recommend it since they will not cook properly.

I agree, but there are ways to fill the pot (wierd, strange ways). You can wrap the ribs in heavy duty foil so the package is water tight and add other items - like baking potatoes or other veggies to the pot so the ribs are separated from the other items.
