Food.com Groupie
ok, have some brats to use up and thanks to some people who replied to a Recipe request
thought I would do brats with kim - chee
http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/guy-fieri/kim-chee--ks-way-recipe/index.html
1 brat has 27.5 g of protein 2 grams carbs
http://www.calorieking.com/foods/calories-in-german-meals-bratwurst-grilled_f-Y2lkPTEwMDAwMDE0JmJpZD0xJmZpZD02NjAyMyZlaWQ9NTYzMTIyOTE0JnBvcz0xJnBhcj0ma2V5PWJyYXR3dXJzdA.html
I put the ingredients (in the formats acceptable to zaar) and the nutritional value came to be 18.3 carbs to 8.9 protein
the recipe is not made public yet
here's the list of ingredients I had to use to make sure all nutritional values were recorded
Ingredients
1/2 head cabbage
1 tablespoon salt
1 cup carrot
1 cup radish
2 green onions
3/4 cup tamari
1/2 cup water
1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
1 tablespoon garlic
4 chili peppers
per calorie king it does not make a difference what kind of cabbage I use so that's ok
there is a slight difference between regular radihs and daikon radish but nothing to worry about .3 to <.1
onions..doesn't matter what kind u use ir red, spring onion etc
adding one brat with the kin chee would make it an ok dish re carbs are lower than protein
other than using 1/2 cup carrots, less tamari (say 1/2 cup as 3/4 sounds like a lot)
what suggestions could people here make to make the kin chee a tad more healthier? Guess could always put in shredded cheese eh?
Thanks in advance for any replies
