Hello everyone,
I am smoking some brisket tomorrow and I wanted to make kalua pig in the crockpot for an appetizer. I most recipes call for hawaiian salt, but I can't find any. Can I substitute it with any other salt? Also how do you guys recommend for a 9 LB pork shoulder. Unfortunately I tried looking for the recipe number, but couldn't find it. If someone would time in Kalua pig in slow cooker it will come up.
Thanks in advance,
Ray

Thanks for the advance and recipes. I'm really glad I just brought some coarse sea salt.
