We are driving to Florida next week (yuck I hate driving but I alos hate planes) and only taking a small cooler for drinks, so please I need some suggestions for munchies for the dreadful road trip. I figure maybe if I eat all the way there, time will pass by alot quicker. LOL

Hey there Dana-We drove up to Calgary from N.C. I can relate!
    Chex Party Mix
    Granola
    Beef Jerky

    Are there kids involved?

Frozen fruit juice bars and slurpies are well worth the quick stop to "break up" the "Oh no, not a juice box again!"
I'll send along some more ideas as they pop up. Di

I usually freeze several of the juice boxes which keeps the non-frozen ones cold and then later the frozen ones become slushy drinks (I do this with box drinks in my kids lunches each day too). Given we usually have limited space when we go back home to Florida (don't want to have crushed snacks), I usually pack Pringles chips, box of Cheez-Its, favorite box of crackers for me, little boxes of cereal, and a favorite candy for everyone in the car. We also can't leave without our tv/vcr which we discovered upon our move to AL made the trip much more enjoyable for all.
