    I know this is not really "related" but our grand-daughter is on a formula that has 2200 calories per ounce. Have you ever heard of such a thing? She should be a little "Butter Ball".

    I would recommend "snacking" throughout the day, as well as upping the calorie content of sit-down meals. Nuts (almonds in particular) are fatty, but also very high in nutrients (and considered the "best" of all the nuts, by nutritional standards). Please see my recipe for Power Smoothies. A few of these a day might do you good.
