So would I! I love to braise - it gives a nice carmelization to the food and seals all the juices in! icon_wink.gif

    Becky,
    Very nice tips thanks.
Do you know any tips on making gravy. Thinning or thickening. I have read a bunch of recipes that call for cream/country gravy, but the ones making reviews say its to thick or to thin. I know gravy is a learned process. 1st time I made gravy ( i was 13) if you threw it at the fridge it would have put a dent in the appliance. I have learned over time how to thin or thicken.

Could you add some tips(if ya have any) you are good at explaining icon_biggrin.gif I am teaching my grown daughters how to make country pepper gravy from scratch this comming sunday. I am better in person than trying to explain it. icon_redface.gif
    Thanks
    Tina

    Sharligan,
Did you see the section on braising the other day? It is under the monthly topics. I hope it helps you and others who are interested. I just haven't had a chance to look at all the wonderful topics yet. The ones I have seen are excellent!!! Everybody has done such a wonderful job. I will get to them, though!!!!
    Love,
