I would like recipes that are all inclusive for a meal: meat, veggies, and starch. The search tool does not seem to identify what I want.

This is not my prefered way to make chili-but it can be done in a crock pot. And this may start a war! but I make mine with steak, beans and tomatoes-hold on to your hat.

Thanks, this looks great! Most of the time, I use a crockpot strictly to save time, but if I have to make a couple of items on the side, it doesn't save much time anyway. This is one of those recipes that all I need is a quick side salad and bread. Thanks, again.

I'm glad you feel that way cause:
    take 8 to 10 brats-
    1 jar of wine saurkraut-
    and 6 hours on low-
throw on the side some buns,
    mustard,
    cheese, beer, potato salad and:
    YOU SLEEP WITH HIM!!!!!!!!!!!
