International Food Party

Hi all!

I'm having a surprise party for my fiancee' in November to celebrate his 30th year of service at his place of employment, as well as a belated birthday/congrats on the degree... (all rolled into one)

Lots of co-workers, friends and family. The co-workers and I have decided on an International Foods Theme and plan on having 'stations' around the back yard with foods from many different countries. (this is all because his tastes are so 'worldly')

Can any of you please suggest a relatively easy dish that would feed a crowd (appetizer portions of course) and hold well? As well as some decorative ideas for the table on which we'll be serving the food?

Sausage Rolls(it says it's australian , but we have something very much near the same here in Holland), Dutch 'Bitterballen' : Bite-size veal croquettes and
Gehaktballen: Dutch meatballs
