Some nice vegan cookie recipes (one very low fat)

    Tue Jul 05, 2005 10:38 pm Groupie
Last week I made cookies for my next door neighbors who have 6 kids. Roosie's Not Your Typical Chocolate Chip Cookies were really good. But what I didn't know was that one of the kids is allergic to chocolate so of course I needed to make more, non-chocolate, cookies. I have to admit that when I chose this recipe I did not realize that it was vegan or very low fat. But they turned out so good I needed to recommend them. Pumpkin-raisin Cookies are nice little spice cookies.

These next door neighbors are renting their house and are friends with the owners, who are also good friends of ours. When the renters moved in the owners supposedly told them that I cook "healthy stuff that is sometimes odd." I made them Whole Wheat Snickerdoodles (not vegan) when they moved in and she commented that "I knew it would be something healthy." So I have to uphold my reputation icon_lol.gif
