    Mac n Cheese recipe question

I really wanna make Homestyle Mac and Cheese #12360 for the 4th but I need it in a crockpot since I will be at someone elses house. Do you think it can be made for the crockpot? I was thinking I would put it together (not use the topping) before I left the house and let it "bake" in the crockpot after I get there. It will have atleast 2 to 3 hours to cook before it is eaten.

Any help and/or suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

sorry after I went to reply I forgot you had one in mind. I think that one would work too. and maybe your right by adding the topping later.
