    Hello Everyone,

I was wondering if this recipe will convert easily for a crockpot braised lamb chops

Basing cooking times off pork chops-
should the chops be cooked on High for 2-2 1/2 hours
or Low for 4 1/2 hours? (Are cooking temps. just individual preference?)

Thank you all for your help!

    Hi Shirl (J),

I must have been having some sort of mental blockage when I posted my question. That is the only reason I have for not looking up a recipe and thinkng that lamb could not be made in a crockpot. icon_smile.gif

Yesterday, I looked up lamb recipes for the crockpot and found Nurse Di's recipe, too. I mixed both recipes and used the crockpot after browning. I don't think I will review either recipe, yet. The chops that I bought were way too fatty, and I overcooked them. They fell apart and were very hard to serve. I should have accounted for using a different cut of meat and reduced cooking time.

Their flavor was quite good. I will try both recipes again but do them separately with better quality lamb.

    Thanks for your help!
