For Mother's Day my dh gave me a smoker but it can also be used as a charcoal grill. Does anyone have any hints for using it or your favorite smoker recipes?

I do envy you! I hinted but it didn`t work! Happy cooking with it!
I did get a new kitchen door.

I plan to use it a lot this summer, but now I want to find out how to use it. We are having your burgers (that I tagged and is way overdue) and your chicken legs this weekend on it.

Does your dh have to install your door?

Sunday I made Riffraff's Texas BBQ Ribs on my smoker. They were fantastic. Better than many many that I have paid for.
Turkey is also great on the smoker. It will take about 12 hours for a 10-12 lb bird. After you feast out, boil the carcass and skins to make a base for turkey noodle soup. You won't believe the flavor the smoke adds to the soup.
