    When you make this is it ACTUALLY sour flavored? Pickled or maybe brined. I do not like pickled or sweet and sour types of food so maybe this is not for me. Corned beef is out to so if it is close I'll have to pass. Just wanted to know.

    It is sour to the taste, as the marinade consists of vinigar and the meat should be in it for 1 day or more. Also, you will use the marinade for the sauce; so this might not be the right dish for you. Some people add gingerbread to the sauce, so this will ge the sweet taste into the sauce.
